Wageningen UR (University & Research centre) continuously aims to assemble her knowledge of education and research. Physically this is achieved on the Wageningen Campus. A place where students, teachers, researchers and staff can come together and exchange ideas.
Wageningen Campus is growing. Take the construction of Orion, the second teaching building after the Forum, for example. Various research departments are also relocating to the Campus from Wageningen. In 2014, the entire Food Sciences department will be located on the Wageningen Campus. Many chair groups will have already arrived on the Campus by 2012. Nearly all the research buildings now contain classrooms. Wageningen Campus has become a symbol for partnership, knowledge exchange as well as high-quality teaching. |
